Quality - a way of life at Noetic
At Noetic Solutions, Quality is not merely a statement,
but a way of doing things. It is about constant improvement
in our processes, and above all, enrichment and improvement
of our people. It is about consistency, in the execution of
our projects, based on best practices followed in our
industry, and efficiencies that result from consistent
execution.
To this effect, we have created the application nScheduler,
to support our Global Delivery Model, which is used by all
our project teams and the clients, and acts as a central
repository where the participants (clients and Noetic
Solutions team members) can share the progress of the
project and work interactively to meet the goals of the
project. The solution also allows management features such
as resource management, time management, project management
(task management, change management and risk/issue
management), and collaboration management.
In an effort to further our commitment to improved
quality based on industry best practices, Noetic
Solutions is in the process of obtaining the ISO 9001:2000
certification later this year. This will allow us to deliver
better solutions in a consistent manner that our clients
have come to expect from Noetic Solutions.
Currently we have a well-documented set of processes and
procedures for all the aspects and phases of software
development life cycle. Our management and quality assurance
team ensures that these processes and procedures are
followed strictly, and constantly review the project
management process and procedures to recommend the following:
-- Changes in the quality assurance process to deliver better
software and network integration services
-- Improvements in the software development and network
integration change management methodology
-- Training needs for our people
Going beyond software development, quality process is
addressed right from the time new members join the Noetic
Solutions team. It is a big component of all the training
and orientation they receive and a yard stick by which
individual and team performance is measured.
